Had to schedule an appointment with another doctor. Also my daughter requested to see the doctor when she made the appointment and when she came in they scheduled her with the nurse practitioner instead. His office is growing and he needs a more professional staff.

On 4.27.2022 ~~ I Developed a Serious Allergic reaction to a medication that Dr. Ototu thought would work for me, he is not at fault until the patient actually tries the med ( it was not life threatening ) just very much in discomfort that with my medical hx exacerbated the problem and myself being in medicine I took it upon myself to do some primary precautions but they did not work. So I immediately called Kayla at the front desk, and explain to her my situation that I could not come into the office today because I was working so she was very professional and kind and said I can get you in STAT for a Televisit, I said perfect Kayla that was initiated Within a few hours I downloaded the app with her assistant. And then I met with Dr.Otou, and explained my whole situation to him I have NEVER had a Internal Medicine Physician take time like this out of his busy day !! because most practices that I have worked with I would say we cannot accommodate you he’s busy and you need to make an appointment and he could not see you for another, few days, because this Physician is “”BOOKED “”” week or two weeks. Dr. Ototu, is the most Passionate, Caring , Professional, his heart is Souly caring about his human life and his patients. With my medical hx I could not of waited another day of getting some type of medication for the major discomfort I was in. Dr. Ototu ♡♡ is > than a 5 Star rating he is the very BEST INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN IN THE DALLAS — METROPLEX PLUS HE TAKES ALL INSURANCE CALL KAYLA TO ASK HER. ALSO THIS IS A BIG PRO TO ME DR. Doctor Olotu is very nice The shots did not hurt at all because they used a spray to numb area where I was going to get a shot. I am a very thin and lightweight and I do not eat much, none of the doctors I’ve had before, brought up the fact that I need to gain weight and eat a variety of foods. He even gave me a sheet about missing micronutrients are missing from the American diet and the vitamins, benefits, and sources of the food. Today was my first visit to Dr. Olotu and he’s by far the best ! His spirit is so warming and he made me feel comfortable. He explains everything to you throughly and he listens to you . I’m so glad I found him because I just relocated from out of state so it was important I could find a Doctor such as Dr. Olotu !

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr.O. I can be a hard critic of medical care or emergency care and the people employed by them. Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I’m not feeling at all well and the result can be much less than pleasant. This was my first visit at Essentia Care. It was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all the other employees of the made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe they are the best. I am truly grateful. I appreciated their follow-up and willingness to answer questions and concerns.

I met with Dr. Olusesan Olotu today for my annual physical and am very pleased with my experience at essesciacare. I would recommend anyone searching for a PCP to go to Dr. Olusesan Olotu. The Dr not only paid attention to the medical concerns I raised but also checked and explained the root cause and remedies to follow. It is a very warm and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly.
